Springtime Blooms

by Jessica Freeman

The transition from winter to spring is more apparent when living on the farm. The dark and rainy weather becomes slowly spotted with sunnier days, there is a literal buzz in the air of bees and the skeletal trees are full of buds about to burst. As a way to provide some hope during the current restrictions and a window into the natural world that many are deprived of, my project focuses on the transition into Spring, here on the farm. This is done through a digitally drawn catalogue of all the flowers that are about to bloom and printed as a zine.
