The Chief Secretary’s Building located at 50 Philip Street Sydney is of state heritage significance. Construction began in 1880 under the influence of Government Architect James Barnet in what is now called the Victorian Free Classical style. Nimbus Architecture and Heritage have recently completed architecture and heritage consultancy services for the recent upgrades to the building including, amenities and safety devices upgrade on the Rooftop for BGIS.
